Red Riding Hood Story party
my little girl birthday party.
The theme is Little Red Riding Hood with some simple colours
such as Red, Green, Brown and White.
The party was a blast and everyone was happy
with the food and most importantly the kids were happy.
who does a great job at making this delicious
Lemon poppy seed cake and those little cuppies.
Everyone loves the cake even little babies too!
They were yummy and healthy food as well.
The bakery that I ordered from
does make a point to make them less sweeter for the kids.
Heart & Flour Bakery
399, Burmah Road,
10350 Penang.
the mushrooms are for decoration only.
Found them at a Japanese shop which is yummy
as there's some macha inside those marshmellows!
Here is my little Red Riding hood deco... cute eh?
Here's my DIY paper WOLF for the kids to hit the Big bad wolf on it's head! it was part of the activites that I plan for the party. The children loves to kill the wolf... especially the boys!Hope you find this post an inspiration for your kids party at home!

All About You

These are some other digital illustrations that I come out with. Since I am now into mushrooms and cute birds so I tried to come out with a concept which is different than the previous ideas on Dreaming Mushrooms! "All about you" is actually inspired by my lil' bean. I wanted to create something that she can relate to, so I have some butterflies roaming around and birds in these pictures. My lil girl absolutely love them and I hope you all will like it too!Friday, August 5, 2011
Reve de Champignons
I have been dreaming about mushrooms and toadstool lately. So indeed I decided to have fun creating and putting together some images. I love the dream idea as I used to love day dreaming when I was in those college days, now of course we do not really have time to dream.
Here's my latest petit project. DO you love these pictures? I just can't stop doing it. I just keep on making these images and alter the colour a bit here and there downloading some ready made images and compiling them together. Well I took the Blythe picture myself and the rest are images that I collected.

A Retro Theme Retirement Party
This is another party that I have helped to organised and it was really fun working with elder ladies. They are so much fun. Well, the person retiring is my mother and she had lots of friends gathering for a luncheon, so I have come up with the decorations and all. Hope I can upload here some pictures of the event as well; I have to get the pictures from my Mum though. :)

Here it is, This is the poster I made that we stick it on the background for photoshooting. Other than this poster, we also hung up some decorations made out of paper and strings. The theme was based on Golfing which is what the retired person do best and almost all her friends are into golf. Well, here I have found some vintage golfing pictures which I modified the wording bits.

Here it is, it reads "I Golf, Therefore I am not Free!"
(If you like it you can download it)
Other than having luncheon, I thought I'll spice up the programme a bit. Here I have a checklist for the friends of the retiree to pick out the things that my Mother should do after retiring!
If you like the checklist you can download it too!

Well, I did prepare a door gift for all the ladies who attended the party. Here is a picture of my packaging and the contents in the package are a pack of Salonpas, a tiny tiger balm, and a packet of plaster. If you wonder what a Salonpas is ermm... it is actually a pain relief patch, manufactured by Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical.
Overall, the party is a blast and it ended with a cake cutting ceremony and photoshooting session. Who says old ladies shouldn't have fun!
